La tutela della salute e del benessere dei calciatori rappresenta una prioritร assoluta. Considerando il fitto calendario di impegni, sia per la nazionale thailandese sia per i club impegnati nelle competizioni internazionali, la Federazione ha deciso di far iniziare la stagione tre settimane piรน tardi rispetto a quella precedente, consentendo agli atleti un adeguato periodo di recupero.
Per la stagione 2026/27,
Thai League 1 prevede:
29 giornate disputate nel fine settimana;
1 turno infrasettimanale;
(escludendo eventuali recuperi o gare rinviate).
Il calendario รจ stato elaborato in modo da essere compatibile con gli impegni delle competizioni continentali asiatiche e dei tornei per club dell'ASEAN. Sono inoltre state predisposte misure di riserva e procedure operative, in conformitร con le direttive del Consiglio Direttivo della Lega, per limitare al minimo l'impatto di eventuali rinvii.

Srikandi Merdeka Cup 2026 in Indonesia
On July 23, 2026, the Indonesian Football Federation (PSSI) held the draw ceremony for the Srikandi Merdeka CUP 2026 U17 Women's Football Tournament, which will be held in Indonesia from August 14-23, 2026.
This football tournament features eight teams: Indonesia A and Indonesia B, along with Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. The draw results are as follows:

BYD Seal Five League Two 2026/27
The Professional Football League Organizing Committee of the Football Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage has announced the match schedule for the BYD Seal Five League Two (Thai League 2) 2026/27 season to inform member clubs and allow them to prepare for the pursuit of success in the new season.
The second-tier football league in Thailand is set to officially kick off on Friday, September 4, 2026, before concluding the season on Sunday, May 23, 2027. All matches will be played simultaneously on their final day, intensifying the race for the championship, promotion, and relegation, while ensuring transparency and fairness until the final whistle.
For the Thai League 2 2026/27 season, there will be a total of 34 matches scheduled, divided into 28 weekend matches and 6 midweek matches (excluding rescheduled or postponed matches).
Throughout the season, football fans will experience high-quality matches from clubs across the country, along with prestigious and vibrant local derby matches. This reflects the charm of Thai football, which is growing strongly in every region and receiving warm support from local fans—a key characteristic of Thai League 2.
Furthermore, in order to uphold and respect the beautiful practices of our Muslim brothers and sisters, PT Satun FC's home matches during the blessed month of Ramadan (approximately February 8th – March 10th, 2027) will be scheduled to start at 7:00 PM onwards. This is to facilitate football fans and our Muslim brothers and sisters to appropriately watch and cheer for their beloved team after breaking their fast.

Thai national football team to compete in the 2026 ASEAN Championship
Anthony Hudson, head coach of the Thai men's national football team, gave an interview after the announcement of the 25-player squad for the 2026 ASEAN Hyundai Cup, which will be held from July 24 to August 26, 2026.
"I have some information to share. Of course, I'm very pleased with the call-up of Patrick Gustavslan. The players will join the camp from August 5th onwards. Naturally, this period has been difficult in terms of player selection, given the pre-season schedule. My initial plan was to use U23 players, but some players of U23 age and quality/talent were kept by the club for further development during pre-season and therefore couldn't join the camp," Hudson said.
"This resulted in a slight change to the final roster announcement, leading to a selection of a mixed team of youth players and senior players who form the core of this squad. Of course, I would like to thank the Football Association of Thailand and its president, Madam Pang Nualphan Lamsam, for their assistance, support, and coordination in bringing these players to represent the Thai national team this time."
"I would like to thank the clubs for their cooperation in allowing the players to be released to help the Thai national team in this camp, even though it's a difficult time for each club during their pre-season. Of course, this decision may not be perfect, but we discussed it with the club management and received excellent cooperation. I would like to thank all the clubs."
"After a challenging period in selecting these athletes, overall, I am now satisfied with the squad I have at the moment and excited to work with them in this camp. This tournament is a crucial opportunity for all the athletes, both youth and newcomers, to showcase their skills and progress to the next camp in September-October. At that time, we will select the best possible team to prepare for bigger tournaments. Thank you."

Madam Pang Decides on Lawsuit Against Somyots Football Association Over 360 Million Baht Debt
"Madam Pang" has made a decision regarding the lawsuit against Somyot's Football Association over a 360 million baht debt.
On 22 June 2026, Madam Pang Nualphan Lamsam, President of the Football Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage, answered media questions during a press conference after a board meeting, announcing that the association has reached an agreement on the debt repayment plan owed to Siam Sport Syndicate Public Company Limited and Cineplex Company Limited (True Group).
The debt originated in 2016 under the previous administration of the association, which had revoked Siam Sport's rights to manage sponsorship and broadcast. This led to prolonged lawsuits across three courts over ten years, until the Supreme Court ruled against the association, ordering it to repay 360 million baht plus interest to Siam Sport.
The association has already fully paid 120 million baht of the debt to Siam Sport as of 30 March 2026. The remaining debt of 240 million baht, owed by Siam Sport Syndicate Public Company Limited to Cineplex Company Limited, is also binding on the association.
The repayment plan is divided into two parts: cash payments as agreed in installments, and granting exclusive broadcasting rights—including live and rerun broadcasts of Thailand national football matches—via OTT, IPTV, and Pay TV across all platforms operated by True Group or its affiliates, along with related marketing benefits. This arrangement with Cineplex spans four years from 2026 to 2029, offsetting part of the remaining debt. The rest will be paid monthly in cash installments.
Regarding pursuing lawsuits against the former Football Association that caused the substantial debt, Madam Pang said, "Actually, the statute of limitations has passed. When I took office, I was aware of this debt and believed I could resolve it. When the Supreme Court ruling came out, I was shocked and deeply saddened."
"However, everyone who elected me contributed to my role, including former President Worawi Makudi who invited me into this field, and President Somyot Poompanmoung who also supported my presidency of the association."
"If we were to pursue lawsuits further, we would have to pursue everyone involved, but this community is like family and friends. The key players, Siam Sport and True Group, have already provided significant assistance. Past events must now be left behind."
