Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, June 17, 2021 – The Philippines and Lebanon will battle it out in the curtain-raising match of the AVC Beach Volleyball Continental Cup Semi-finals at the competition venue in front of Mida Grande Hotel Dhavaravati Nakhon Pathom here on Friday
Technical Delegate Mr Kritsada Panaseri and Referee Delegate Mr Songsak Chareonpong jointly chaired the team briefing on Thursday evening, with team managers of all participating federations in attendance. Due to health and safety concerns related to the COVID-19, the meeting was held via Zoom meeting to help keep face-to-face communication a top priority for clear understanding of the teams’ seedings, rules of the games and match schedule
Kritsada welcomed all teams participating in the AVC Continental Cup Semi-finals between June 18 and 19, 2021 and wished them the best of luck in the double-gender competition, while Songsak confirmed on competition and refereeing matters
The team briefing was very important as it was the last chance to check everything in the right position for Friday’s opening of the competition, which serves as the Asia’s last Olympic qualifying tournament for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games
