"AFF" prepares to use VAR in the "Shopee Cup" battle.
The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) has confirmed plans to use VAR in the ASEAN Club Championship or The Shopee Cup 2024/25.
The Shopee Cup 2024/25 is the first official ASEAN club competition, with 14 clubs participating in 40 matches.

Currently in ASEAN, only three countries use VAR in their domestic leagues. Officially, there are Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam. Meanwhile, Malaysia and Indonesia are preparing to use VAR in competitions next season as well.
