"Thai National Team" senior team reveals 26 warriors to compete in the 2024 ASEAN Championship
The Football Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage has announced the names of 26 Thai national football players to compete in the 2024 ASEAN Football Championship (ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024) between 8 December 2024 – 5 January 2025, under the leadership of Japanese head coach Masatada Ishii.

The Thai national football players whose names are on the list must report to Novotel Future Park Rangsit Hotel on December 2, 2024 at 12:00 noon and train at BG Training Center before traveling to Vietnam on December 6, 2024 to compete in the first match against Timor Leste at Hang Day Stadium on December 8, 2024.
For athletes who are still tied up with their clubs, they will travel to join their teammates as follows:
1. Athletes from True Bangkok United Club, including Patiwat Khammai, Kritsada Nontarat and Wiradet Pomphan, will enter the camp on December 5, 2024 after finishing their mission with their club in the AFC Champions League Two Group Stage, Matchday 6 at Thammasat Stadium on December 4, 2024.
2. Kampol Pathom-arkhakul from Ratchaburi FC will join the team after the postponed match against Buriram United in the Thai League, which will be held on December 8, 2024.
3. Athletes from Port FC, consisting of Teerasak Poeiphimai, Worachit Kanitsribumphen, Peeradon Chamratsamee, Chalermsak Akhi and Suphanan Burirat, will travel to join the team in Vietnam on December 6, 2024 after finishing their mission with their clubs in the AFC Champions League Two, Group Stage, Match 6, away game against Lion City Sailors in Singapore on December 5, 2024.
4. Athletes playing in the J-League, Japan, including Ekanit Panya, Urawa Red Diamonds Club and Supachok Sarachat, Consadole Sapporo Club, will travel to practice with the team on December 10, 2024 in Thailand after finishing their mission with their clubs in the last game of the J-League, Japan on December 8, 2024.
For the ASEAN Cup, it has been held a total of 14 times. The team that has won the championship the most is Thailand 7 times, followed by Singapore 4 times, Vietnam 2 times and Malaysia 1 time. For the ASEAN Mitsibishi Electric Cup 2024 or the 2024 ASEAN Championship, the Thai national team is in Group A with Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia and Timor Leste. The program for the 2024 ASEAN Championship, the first match of the Thai national team will be visiting Timor Leste at Hang Day Stadium (Vietnam) on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 8:00 p.m., broadcast live on BG SPORT.
