AFC changes ACL rules, increases foreign quota, cancels away goals rule
Asian Football Confederation Organized the 8/2021 Board of Directors' meeting via video conferencing system with an important aspect of the change of conditions in the AFC Champions League football tournament.

At the meeting, resolutions from various committees were approved. There are important things proposed by the competition organizing committee as follows:
1. Increasing the quota foreign athletes in registration of AFC football matches The 2022 Champions League season has no limit on the number of foreign players. But in the registration of matches per match The number of foreign athletes will remain 3+1 (outside continent 3, Asia 1).
2. Cancellation of Away Goal Rules for competitions organized by Asian Football Confederation in all competitions, if two games end in a draw It will be settled on extra-time, an additional 30 minutes, and if a tie continues, it will be settled on penalties.
