The game in the main draw or group stage There will be a total of 32 teams participating in the competition, divided into 8 groups of 4 teams each. Each group competes in a round-robin competition. The 1st team of the group will qualify for the round of 16, while the 2nd-3rd team of the group will qualify for the final 24.
In the men's team category, young Thais played in the group stage of 2 teams in Group A, "Frame-File" Netithon Munikul / Wachirawit Phatpha from Thailand, made a great debut against Martin Licht. / Cameron Chadwick of Canada went 2-0 sets 21-19, 21-9 won the first game.
While in Group H, "Boss-Team" Werayut Sopati / Narakon Chumaphai from Thailand 2 also performed excellently, defeating Jay Rac de la Noche / Alexander Jon Iraya. From the Philippines, going 2-0 sets 21-15, 21-19 won the first field beautifully.
In the women's team category, Thai girls qualified for the main draw, all 3 teams, although "Namwa-Douk" Angkwipha Kaewthong / Tasanee Jongyongklang from Thailand 3 will lose in the qualifying round. But there are teams that can't compete, causing the Thai team to play in the group stage as well.
In the morning, Group A "View-Pop" Jidapha Bunongkhun / Apinya Saengphaeng from Thai Team 1 won beautifully, beating out Natalia Ann Binimelis / Carolina Fe. Fernandez from Spain narrowly went 2-1 sets 16-21, 21-16, 18-16.
As well as in Group H, "Sanya-Pai" Patcharaporn Sihawong / Sujinna Jermpool from Thailand 2 made a good debut, defeating Yanne Uhl / Kim Victoria Prade of Germany 2-1. Sets 18-21, 24-22, 15-6
In the group D , Angkwipha / Tassanee from Thailand 3 entered the field to meet Tania Moreno Mataviva / Ana Vergara from Spain and the Thai women lost 0-2, set 12-21, 10-21.
While competing in the afternoon, Group A Jidapha / Apinya from Thailand 1 played in the second game of the day and also performed beautifully, defeating Hanna Kubic / Sofia Vasvari of Hungary 2- 0 sets 21-15, 21-12 The Thai girls team won 2 games in a row, guaranteeing that they will pass to the next round for sure.
And Group D Angkwipha / Tassanee from Thailand 3 also played the second game and lost to Jasmine Fleming / Kayla Mears of Australia 0-2, set 16-21, 13-21.
