D-Day, April 6, draw the draw for the men's and women's football at the SEA Games.
Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) along with the Vietnam Olympic Committee Including the organizers of the 31st SEA Games, will draw the draw for the men's and women's football seasons of the SEA Games on April 6.
This competition has a total of 10 men's football teams, consisting of the host Vietnam (previous champion) who will be placed in the A line, while the Thai national team will be in the line B, with the following pot divided: Indonesia - Malaysia (Group 2 ), Myanmar - Cambodia (Group 3), Philippines - Singapore (Group 4), Laos - Timor Leste (Group 5).
The women's football It is expected that there will be 7 national teams, which will be divided into 2 groups, with the Vietnamese national team (old champion) and the Thai national team. (The former runner-up) was placed as a team in both groups.
The 31st SEA Games men's football group stage will compete in two stadiums, Viet Chit Stadium and Nam Dinh Stadium, starting on 6 May 65, the gold medal match. It will be played at Mee Dinh Stadium, which will be played on 22 May 65, and women's football will be played at two stadiums: Quang Ninh Stadium and PVF Center.
